To finish off inquiry the students in Chantel and Phaedra’s grade had a Water Saving device Expo! To start with we made plans of what our water saving device would look like and the materials we would need. Using recycled things (boxes, plastic bottles) we spent the morning constructing our device, thanks to our parent helpers!

Finally we had an afternoon where we invited our buddy classes and our parents to share and explain what we had made and how they work.

We feel so lucky that between all our guests we raised $126.40!! We plan to donate this money to an organisation that for $25 water filters can be purchased. This will greatly help kids and families in a third world country.
